My Past Life

Umbrella theme: "If you want your present to be different from your past, study the past."

  

Reincarnation is a philosophical and religious concept which simply means rebirth. It is an idea of having a new physical body after a biological death. Reincarnation plays a big part in different religious beliefs such as Hinduism, Buddhism and Judaism.

If I am to be reincarnated, I would choose to be a bird. A bird that dances gracefully in a wide blue sky and can fly without limitations. I chose the bird because I am dreaming of traveling and discovering the world. Furthermore, it symbolizes freedom since birds can fly with such distance. Because when I was a child, I’m always in the house. They don’t let me go outside the house because my parents told me that I should always take care of myself. I’m the only child that they love me so much.

If we are to analyze the theme, it’s pertaining to reflections of the past to change the present. The same thought implies with reincarnation, having a new body, a new life, to change the present and to learn from the past.

By the way, no one knows what’s going to happen next in their everyday lives. Especially the what we call “Future”.

And… And… In the long run, I am proudly saying that I believed that “History repeats itself”.

No need to study the past. Again… Past is past. It’s already done! The most important thing is, you learned, you changed and you’re different now. It’s a new You! That’s all.
